Meeting at the Municipality of Kemer


Richard Przewozniak, Vice-President of the FMJD, is currently visiting Turkey to support the organisation of the World Championship (64) for Disabled Players. On this occasion he met Mr Necati Topaloğlu, Mayor of Kemer municipality, where the next World Youth Championship (100) and our General Assembly are due to be held in October. Thanking the mayor for his warm welcome, he explained the purpose of his visit, pointing out that the FMJD is open to all kind of draughts, and above all to all countries, ages, social conditions, genders, sexual orientations and religions without any discrimination.

After the visit, he confirmed that Turkey fulfilled all the conditions required to successfully host such events. In the presence of Ibrahim Alihaydar, our point of contact and the main organiser, the mayor promised to lend his support to the organisation of the championship. He also accepted our invitation to attend the opening and closing ceremonies.
