IF Forum in Lausanne

Last week, both the AIMS Congress and the IF Forum took place in Lausanne.

The AIMS Congress was held at the headquarters of the Olympic Committee. In addition to organizational matters, including updates to the statute, we dedicated considerable time to issues related to doping.
Requirements for appropriate relations with WADA were also integrated into the AIMS statute. Unfortunately, there was little official information regarding recognition by the IOC, which remains highly significant for us.
However, through direct contact with various individuals, we gained valuable insights into how we might positively influence this process.

The annual IF Forum, organized by SportAccord, took place at the Olympic Museum. Among the many insightful presentations and discussions, topics included athletes' mental health, doping, social media and its associated challenges, both positive and negative. There was also substantial discussion on e-sports. The final day of the three-day forum was fully dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) in sports.
