The GA in Sao Paulo elected a new IMSA President, Mr. Nandan Jha from India, and under his leadership we can expect a new dynamic and a new model for IMSA.
We can look forward to a new IMSA events that have been long awaited, especially by the draughts community.

During the meeting, the IMSA family welcomed a new (9th) member : the World Poker Federation became a Full member (see the link to WPF: https://worldpokerfederation.org)
The FMJD is doing its best to be well represented and active in the IMSA structure. The FMJD Tournament Director Siep Buurke has just become a member of the Events Commission (chaired by WBF's president Jan Kamras) and Wouter van Beek is a member of the Advisory Board (chaired by José Damiani, IMSA's first president).
Apart from the program and the official IMSA General Assembly, there was also an informal meeting with the President of the Brazilian Draughts Federation, Mr. Euclides Junior.
We learned more about the current situation in Brazil and discussed joint projects for the future.
