FMJD Players committee formed

The election for he FMJD players committee has been held in April.
There were 11 candidates:
Male players: Alexey Chizhov , Jean Marc Ndjofang , Alexander Shvarzman , Yuriy Anikyeyev , Gavril Kolesov, Butulis Benno, Daniele Macali, Igor Martynov
Female players: Vitalia Dumesh , Viktoria Motrichko, Natalia Sadovska, Darya Tkachenko

All players with the title MI/MIF or GMI/GMIF could vote.

The votes have been received and counted by Airat Nurgaziyev as representative of the Ethics committee and Janek Mäggi as president of the voting committee of the General Assembly 2015.
In total 46 players voted.
The two male players with the most votes were Alexey Chizhov and Jean-Marc Ndjofang, the two female players with the most votes Viktoriya Motrichko and Natalia Sadovska.
The FMJD Executive Council invited a fifth player for the committee : Yuriy Anikieiev.

The task of this committee will be to advise the draughts world, the FMJD council and the General Assembly about all issues for players, official competitions, rules, etc. The may do so on request of the General Assembly or the FMJD council or on their own initiative.
At this moment Harm Wiersma and Natalia Sadovska are the players representatives in the FMJD council but, according to the IOC guidelines for a players committee, the committee chooses from among them the representatives of the players in the FMJD council.
