Application for FMJD events 2023 is extended till July 31st

TO ALL FEDERATIONS

Dear draughts friends,

1) We would like to inform you that the Bidding procedure for FMJD events is extended.
As all applications which we have received are without important details like prize money offered or exact
information about the venue, we are still open for Your applications for 2023 with the deadline July 31st.

Please inform your potential organisers!

In order that your application for the official events 2023 will be taken into consideration
we need from you the following important data:
- Event;
- Offered prize money;
- Venue, hotel with prices (for the current moment);
- Information about hotel - if players are free to choose another one or not, etc.;
- More information is welcome.

2) The list of FMJD next year's events:
World Championship Open 2023
World Championship Women 2023
World Championship Blitz 2023
World Championship Rapid 2023
World Championship Youth 2023
World Championship Clubs 2023
World Championship 60+ 2023

FMJD Champions Cup
Comments:
A) For the World Cup events please use the attached form. For all others, just show us your idea of the event and your potential.
Do not hesitate to ask for more details if necessary.

B) FMJD Champions Cup is a new tournament.
During our last meeting in Riga EC FMJD approved the details about the World Club Championship which has
now the name FMJD Champions Cup.
We are waiting for your applications by the end of July.
See attached document.

3) For your attention:
We have received complaints from some players that they cannot participate in official FMJD tournaments because their
National Federation organises their National Championships at the same time.
This is not the meaning of having these events at the same dates.

We have a request to all federations to inform their organisers to look at the FMJD Calendar before
planning National Championships.
So your National Championship will not be held at the same time as FMJD events.
Please give you players the possibility to play WCh, ECh, World Cup etappe, Elite events (IMSA, SportAccord, etc.)

Kind regards,
Vitalia Doumesh, FMJD Office manager
