Dear draughtsfriends,
Allow me to invite you to 14th Pardubice Festival, where in addition to traditional chess disciplines are also included two open draughts tournaments this year. You will be able to try a game with electronic clocks on added time. You will experience the atmosphere of the great games festival where concurrently with draughts will be also played high level chess, bridge, go, shogi, marriage and computer games and other disciplines will be presented.

International draughts:
- participation of players without age and performance limitations
- 6 rounds by Swiss system
- it is played according to FMJD rules (www.fmjd.nl)
- 2 x 30min + 30s/move
- financial prizes: 1. 3 000 CZK, 2. 2 000 CZK, 3. 1 000 CZK (payment in EUR or USD possible)
- material prizes
- starting fee 5 EUR
- youngsters up to 18 years of age, seniors over 65 years of age and women have 25% discount
- time schedule:
Friday 11. 7. 15:30 – 16:30 registration
Friday 11. 7. 17:00 – 21:00 1. and 2. round
Saturday 12. 7. 09:00 – 13:00 3. and 4. round
Saturday 12. 7. 14:00 – 18:00 5. and 6. round
Saturday 12. 7. 18:30 presentation of winners and prices
(time schedule is approximate, playing system and number of rounds could be modified according to number of players)

Place of registration, accommodation, playing halls, presentation of results: Exhibition and social centre IDEON, Jiraskova 1963, Pardubice, connection from the railway station by No. 6 and 8 bus (5th stop).
Refreshments: directly in Ideon, special festival menu at the Kavarna Evropa, ”Ponorka” Club with the regular festival programme

University of Pardubice Dormitory * garni (at a distance of 2 km from Ideon)
2,3-bed rooms, WC, shower common for 1 floor, price 5 EUR/bed and night
Kristl Hotel ** garni (at a distance of 500 m from Ideon)
2-bed rooms with WC and shower for 2 rooms, price for bed and breakfast 25 EUR/room and night
Harmony Hotel ***garni (at a distance of 2 km from Ideon)
2-bed rooms with one’s own WC, shower and kitchenette, price for bed and breakfast 35 EUR/room and night, if only 1 person occupies the room, 30 EUR/room and night is charged
3-bed rooms with one’s own WC, shower and kitchenette, price for bed and breakfast 40 EUR/room and night
Interhotel Labe *** (at a distance of 1 km from Ideon)
2-bed rooms with one´s own WC and shower, price including breakfast 45 EUR/room and night, if only 1 person occupies the room, 40 EUR/room and night is charged
Discount system in selected shops and facilities: for all participants and accompanying people discount system for selected shops and restaurants will be established again
Starting fee and accommodation payments will be collected during the registration in cash in EUR, CZK or USD or by means of payment cards (Eurocard/Master Card, VISA, American Express, JCB or Diners Club).
