FMJD section

Portuguese (Spanish) Draughts

The Portuguese (Spanish) Draughts Section is integrated within the World Draughts Federation and is dedicated to the international promotion, organisation and development of this historic 64-square draughts variant.

The section works within the FMJD institutional framework and in close coordination with the Portuguese Draughts Federation, strengthening cooperation among players, clubs, associations, organisers and national organisations.

Elected Bodies 2026-2030

During the 4th World Championship of Portuguese Draughts in São João da Madeira, Portugal, the General Assembly approved the Statutes and elected the governing bodies. The elected list received 48 votes in favour, with one void vote and one abstention.
